I was typing in a medical record when Dr. Bashara came up to the window sill next to me on which this plant was sitting. He adjusted the blinds so the sun would reach the plant, poked at the dirt, sighed and picked up the plant.
"Wait!" I said. Which is incidentally the exact same way we got our youngest dog, Luna.
Dr. Bashara smiled and set the plant down next to me on Dr. Taplett's desk. Most of the leaves fell off.
I have a good feeling about this plant. Amanda named it Charlie Brown.
