Second, HOW CUTE ARE THESE BANDANAS?
They are from a local company called “Paw Bandanas” recommended by a nice client with a cute dog.
As is often the case, I said “enough about your dog’s health…” before I veered off on a wild tangent. Just kidding. I would never. Your dog’s health is always my biggest priority. But Bella’s bandana was SO CUTE.
As you know, Doug needs something to hold in his mouth so he does not put YOUR ARM in his mouth, so Abby has him wear a bandana all the time so he has something handy. He is such a good boy, and only puts the arms of Dad, Jaime, Erika and every Lowe’s employee in his mouth anymore! He is a work in progress.

I love Valentine’s Day and hope to convince you by the end of the post that it is as awesome as it was when we were kids. If nothing else, it is Saturday, and Saturdays are fun.

Remember how we first spent Valentine’s Day as grade schoolers decorating boxes and filling out cards with hilarious puns? THAT is what Valentine’s Day should be all about Charlie Brown.
Blue and I had to give Dougie his stuffie so he would drop his bandana so you could see it!
And candy. We do not need to eat disgusting chalk hearts any more (although truth be told I still love them.) We are grown ups and can have chocolate. Sorry Doug, not you.
And if someone forgets by buy you chocolate, remember two things. One - Doug would have if he could have because he loves you so much. And two - tomorrow it is half price.

Valentine’s Day should be for friends and puns and candy and remembering how much Doug loves you. And fun decorations like bandanas that already have to be replaced because Doug gives everything 1000% and may have accidentally already eaten the corners of all of them.
